There are 4 Different save systems in this game, 1) Manual Save via menu, 2) Quicksave via menu or F5, 3) Exitsave when leaving/entering a area, 4) Quitsave when quiting the game direct to desktop via menu. EDIT: It appears all my 3 saves at this point below are corrupt? The load-screen freezes at some point. Go the Video Settings in-game and change the game resolution same as the Display Resolution. If the video resolution is causing the Fallout 4 to Crash on Startup, then it’ll fix the issue. Try running the game in Windowed and Borderless mode. Sometimes, the game won’t load in Full-screen mode and crashes at the launch.

If ppl call me a douche bag I reply 'Well at least I'm scoring!Iceaxe Iceaxe 2 years ago 5 If you're using a pc, there are a few mods worth looking into like the unofficial patch and a few minor ones that increase fps by replacing textures that you really don't need like the insignificant object remover.I didn't really need the insignificant object remover mod, but it made the game a lot smoother and increased my fps by around It really helps those that have pc specs on the lower end.Other than that, you might look into your settings. Maybe you need to tweak them a little.
